The City of Charlottetown would like to invite you to A Celebration of Faith on Sunday, August 17th, 1 – 2:30 PM in Victoria Park, Charlottetown.
The event is a non-denominational, spiritual celebration of music, song and prayer. All faiths are most welcome to this celebration of ‘unity, community, diversity and nature’. This event is one of the City of Charlottetown’s 150th Charlottetown Conference Anniversary celebrations. In 1864 the Fathers of Confederation gathered to discuss and deliberate creating a union of separate entities into one country. Unity was a central theme to their deliberations. The City would like to honour the theme of “Unity” among people, faith, and traditions. The celebration will feature messages of unity from various denominations as well as singer Kelley Mooney, Don Fraser and the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus, harpist Lana Quinn, drummer Gilbert Sark, singer Angele Hache-Rix and the Spring Park United Church’s walking labyrinth. This is a tented event and will proceed rain or shine. The tent will be located in the front field adjacent to Government House. Accessible parking is available at the baseball diamonds off Brighton Road. Suggested parking is at the provincial government parking lot.

The City of Charlottetown would like to invite you to A Celebration of Faith on Sunday, August 17th, 1 – 2:30 PM in Victoria Park, Charlottetown.
The event is a non-denominational, spiritual celebration of music, song and prayer. All faiths are most welcome to this celebration of ‘unity, community, diversity and nature’. This event is one of the City of Charlottetown’s 150th Charlottetown Conference Anniversary celebrations. In 1864 the Fathers of Confederation gathered to discuss and deliberate creating a union of separate entities into one country. Unity was a central theme to their deliberations. The City would like to honour the theme of “Unity” among people, faith, and traditions. The celebration will feature messages of unity from various denominations as well as singer Kelley Mooney, Don Fraser and the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus, harpist Lana Quinn, drummer Gilbert Sark, singer Angele Hache-Rix and the Spring Park United Church’s walking labyrinth. This is a tented event and will proceed rain or shine. The tent will be located in the front field adjacent to Government House. Accessible parking is available at the baseball diamonds off Brighton Road. Suggested parking is at the provincial government parking lot.
